Over 50s Competition 2007 - 2008

Mike Paduano from the Cons Club beat off a strong challenge from John Collis of ADC. The match was refereed by Nick Greetham and according to Nick the game was both friendly and competitive but Michael always seemed to be in control. He won the first of three frames comfortably but had to work a lot harder over the following two frames to eventually come out on top. The winner by the way is the player gaining more points over the three frames and points are gained by making breaks and winning frames etc.

So in the first 'Over 50’s' held by the club our congratulations go to Michael, and commiserations to John. No doubt the winner will receive a new Pension Book cover in due course!
